PHOTOS OF MONDAY NIGHTS RACING

Here are some of my photos from monday night. Well Done to Henry for 3rd place and for sprinting in the drops this time, no photo evidence this time. I'm doing a photography course so needed some action shots, lots of good photos of other riders but this is the best of the Bastardi bunch, plus an Irish man. Great night of racing, pity it was the last race at Vic Park for the Season.

MONDAY MORNING INSPIRATION

I'd like a Pinarello, but I'd love a Pina Espresso Machine

Came across a little blog the other day. Local guy who some of the BG used to work with who now takes amazing photos

Check it out  http://superflat.com.au/

I'm slowly getting better and hope to be back out again in the next few weeks, and when I'm right to go, my mission is to get on his blog one morning whilst I chase some fitness.

HENRY WINS!!!!

Nice kick to the front after the last hairpin

Grimacing to hold on to the lead
 Crosses the line first
Somewhere between a 5m and 10m gap depending on who you believe!

Nice work Harry, err Henry, maybe you can buy some cycling socks with your prizemoney!

ACCESSORIES

I don't usually recommend the physical fighting method as a means of dispute resolution, but I can't help but think we'd get at least a minimum level of respect from taxi and ute drivers if we were all bearing arms.

ROAD BIKE PARTY OUTTAKES

HUEY LEWIS AND THE NEWS

Not that we have a dress code in our bunch (official BG kit is preferred though) but this is the best example of what not to do I can think of. Even if you are the world champion.  No one wants to see your Huey Lewis and the News. Seriously...... nobody wants to see them, just stop it.

New BG Kit

Looking forward to seeing everyone out on Sunday showing off their new kit.

A big thanks needs to go to Steve B, Frank, Andy W and Billsy for all their hard work.

The logo and design look sh*t hot. The process was extremely well organised. The final jersey and kit are all very professional.

Well done boys!!!

Otherwise, I'll work out next week how to get it to you.  Gav - email me your address and I'll get it posted up ASAP.

STANDARD ISSUE FOR BG?

(via www.milanofixed.com)

IF YOU CAN'T BEAT THEM.....

Every other cycling blog has this video, so we might as well join them. It's still pretty amazing though and worth a look if you've somehow missed it on every other blog over the past week.

NOT OUR NEW KIT

This is not our new kit, but it might have been if we had let Henry get anywhere near the design process
