Sunday Ride – Outer Harbor via Port Rd – No Excuses Club ride 28/07

Sunday Ride – Outer Harbor via Port Rd – No Excuses Club ride

As this Sunday is the last Sunday of the Month its early for a club ride however as the weather looks good 14 degrees, Partly Cloudy and Light Winds lets bring the No Excuses ride forward. So, No Excuses, I expect to see everyone out.

The weather looks so nice in fact I am not scheduling a weather call.

Meet: In the City, Hindmarsh square

Time: 8:00 am

Route: Outer Harbor via Port Rd. Esplanade, Military, Seaview Rd

Coffee: At Glenelg

The tour is over, but the Olympics have started so a bit to discuss. Its either that or we can carry on my work discussion from this week. If you replace the frame, is it still the old bike with a new frame or a new bike with old bits?

Sunday Ride 21/07 - The Depths aka the original BG Ride

Sunday Ride 21/07 - The Depths aka the original BG Ride

I have consulted the BOM and the long-range hour by hour forecast and realised that I as a weather forecaster I make a good IT guy. So for the third week in a row I have set the original BG Ride and we will use the mark 1 eyeball to make a weather call. If its raining or the winds are too high we will call it.

Weather Call: 7am

Meet: 8am in the City

Route: Anzac Hwy, Military Rd, U-Turn at Bower Rd and return

Coffee at Skala Bakery or Semaphore

Return via Henly Beach Rd

If it looks okay on the road Sunday, we can extend. Another week of good racing in the tour. I think Pogacar has it in the bag at this point.

Sunday Ride – Outer Harbor via Port Rd 7/7

Sunday Ride – Outer Harbor via Port Rd

Okay so we are all bleary eyed but inspired after watching some great racing at the tour. This Sunday is Sunny with a bit of a breeze. So need for a weather call.

Meet: In the City, Hindmarsh square

Time: 8:00 am

Route: Outer Harbor via Port Rd. Esplanade, Military, Seaview Rd

Coffee: At Semaphore

Home: Military Rd, Seaview Rd,  Military Rd, ANZAC hwy.

At the time of writing the Pogacar is looking very strong as usual. However the BG chapeau of the week and Mike Tilley medal has to go to Axel Zingle for that 65kph bunny hop over Mads Pederson. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-Jjr2PmI9E
