SUNDAY IS THE (ABSOLUTELY) NO EXCUSES CLUB RIDE

This Sunday is the No Excuses Club Ride.

We've had some really great turn outs over the last couple of months. With a full month of summer still to go, let's keep this rolling.

This Sunday is the (absolutely) no excuses Club Ride. If you haven't been out for ages, if you found the group was getting to fast for comfort, if you're not in great form... it doesn't matter. Sunday is your day.

Sunday will be a moderately paced Outer Harbour loop

Put in in your diaries, be there, don't not be there.

The Route: City, Port Rd, Outer Harbor, Glenelg for Coffee.

Meet in the City at 7:30 am.

This being said, I won't be there... I'm heading to Geelong this weekend to ride in the CEGORR People's Ride on Saturday, so will be don't a couple of extra repeats up Challambra Crescent on Sunday Morning.

Have a great time, and remember, no excuses (says the man with an excuse).

SATURDAY IS MEADOWS LOOP TDU HUNTING

As foreshadowed last week, we are going to do something different this weekend.

We don't appear to have any interest in the TDU Challenge Ride this year.

Anyway, we have an alternative option, which still allows people to do as they wish on Sunday.

On Saturday, the TDU route heads from Glenelg to Victor Harbour, with the second sprint being at Meadows just after midday. Some discussion has ensued, and we are proposing to visit one of our favorite locations, the Meadows bakery, for pie, custard tart and iced coffee to view the sprint.

We'll depart the city on our reverse loop FROM THE CITY at 8.30am, which will get us to Meadows around 10.30am.

We'll have a relaxing time sitting around and eating, before watching the sprint come through, and then heading off for the return trip via Mylor.

Non-riding members are more than welcome to join us at Meadows.

We've had a few already confirm their attendance, but if you haven't yet done so, could we get a show of who else is keen, so I can try to ensure sufficient baked goods are available?

Hit me up via WhatsApp or text to 0417 828 979, with a number attending (and number riding if less).

The pace will be steady, with the group waiting at the top of hills to make sure we have everyone with us.

See you Saturday.

SUNDAY IS BEACH VIA ANZAC HIGHWAY

Sorry for the late post, I've been working in Alice Springs this week.

Sunday is Beach via ANZAC Highway.

Meet in the city at 7.30am.

For reasons to become apparent, this weeks ride will be gentleman's pace. This means no excuses if your form is a bitty iffy.  Be there....

BG TDU RIDE - MEADOWS - SATURDAY 25 JANUARY 2020

So we don't appear to have any interest in the TDU Challenge Ride this year. I'm not surprised, it is a pretty rubbish course that finishes in Murray Bridge. Still, normally we get a few people seeking out that quality jersey that is include in your $$$$ of rego.

Anyway, we have an alternative option, which still allows people to do as they wish on Sunday.

SUNDAY IS THE NO EXCUSES CLUB RIDE

This Sunday is the No Excuses Club Ride.

If you look at the weather forecast, you will currently see there is a 40% chance of up to 2mm of rain. For those who aren't so flash with statistics, this means you would have to ride on three days with this forecast before you were statistically certain to get wet. Notwithstanding, since when has rain been an excuse to not come on a NO EXCUSES ride anyway???

Put in in your diaries, be there, don't not be there.
The Route: City, Port Rd, Outer Harbor, Glenelg for Coffee.

Meet in the City at 7:30 am.

See you Sunday -  NO Excuses, repeat, a 40% chance of rain is NOT an excuse.
