Sunday Ride 31/08 – Outer Harbor via Port Rd – No Excuses Club ride

This Sunday is the last Sunday of the Month and also the end of Winter. Its early for a club ride however as the weather looks decidedly dodgy as I sit and write with a nice Shiraz while watching the hail. I think hills are probably unwise. Given the BOM said we should have has 100mm and we have managed 10mm it could be anything Sunday

Weather is Light Winds and 14 degrees. If it isn’t wet let’s bring the No Excuses ride forward. So, No Excuses, I expect to see everyone out.

Sunday Ride – The Ranges aka Pain Lives Here 24/08

 We have been doing beach for a while but as Sunday looks, dare I say it, nice so it’s back to the Hills for this Sunday with Pain Lives Here.  Weather is 21 degee’s sunny with moderate winds.

Meet: 8:00 am at the Tower

Route:  Tower, Nortons, Ashton, Basket Range, Forrest Range, Deviation Rd, Greenhill Rd

Next week is the end of winter but we will probably wait another week before we revert to 7:30am starts. I haven’t been tracking the Vuelta so have no idea what is happening.

Sunday looks dodgy on the forecast. We will plan to do the short ride down to Semaphore via the Largs Pier and home if we can snag a window in the weather. We can call the route in the morning depending on the situation.

I have finally had a look at the TDU stages so if we get a ride in we can discuss what we like to do as a club. The Epic ride on Friday look like a bit of a leg-breaker this year.

The weather report for Sunday looks okay at the moment, 19 degrees with a north easterly wind. I will book a weather call for Sunday just in case.
