It is now the last Sunday of the Month and weather for Sunday looks less than ideal with a low chance of rain all day. Unfortunately, ANZAC Hwy is a bit of roadwork nightmare with all the tunnel works. So as I have been busy and without ANZAC Hwy route choice is a bit constrained, so we will do last week’s ride again but I will tack an extra bit on…..a second coffee.

 Weather is 18 degrees and moderate winds. The rain is supposed to clear by 7am, So, No Excuses, I expect to see everyone out.

Weather call. 7am

Meet: In the City, Hindmarsh square 

Time: 8:00 am

Route: Outer Harbor via Port Rd. Esplanade, Military, Seaview Rd

Coffee: At Semaphore

Return via Henley Beach Rd

Second Coffee at the new Caffe Eccomi in Norwood

We can do the ride is reverse if everyone is okay for early coffee

I have consulted the BOM and while there is a good chance of a ride it will be wet in dem Hills. So we have set the original BG Ride and we will use the mark 1 eyeball to make a weather call. If it’s raining or the winds are too high, we will call it.  Note the later start time on Sunday.

Weather Call: 7am

Meet: 8am in the City

Route: Anzac Hwy, Military Rd, U-Turn at Bower Rd and return

Coffee at Skala Bakery or Semaphore

Return via Henley Beach Rd

The BG Winter Schedule of 8am meet up's has started a couple of Sundays early this year as we realized we pushed it a bit far last year. If it looks okay on the road Sunday, we can extend the ride back to Norwood for second coffee.

This Sunday we are back to the Hills as the Weather is cool and cloudy with light winds. There is a very slight chance of moisture so I will schedule a weather call.

Weather Call: 6:30 am

Meet: 7:30 am at the Tower

Route:  Tower, Nortons, Ashton, Basket Range, Forrest Range, Deviation Rd, Greenhill Rd

As its Mothers day the return will be straight back down Norton's so we have everyone back in time for lunch.

Sunday Ride 03/05 - The Depths ++ aka the original BG Ride

 I have consulted the BOM and the long-range hour by hour forecast and no matter how you fold it Sunday’s weather look ordinary. So for the third week in a row we will use the mark 1 eyeball to make a weather call rather than rely upon the BOM. If it’s raining or the winds are too high we will call it.

Weather Call: 6.30am

Meet: 7.30am in the City

Route: Anzac Hwy, Military Rd, Semaphore

Return via Henley Beach Rd

If it looks okay on the road Sunday, we can extend or shorten. The Giro starts next Friday so its already Grand Tour time. The year is flying by.
