The forecast for Sunday is looking mild and dry, with a high of 20°C and a low of 10°C. Expect some sun early, turning cloudy later in the day. Perfect conditions for a solid ride and a warm coffee stop!

Happy Easter BG's. For those after a ride this on Easter Sunday we have scheduled the short Beach Ride to give you a good chance to be home for Sunday lunch. The weather doesn’t look all that good so I will set a weather call. I won’t be riding so I will leave for those that will be to communicate on WhatsApp.

It’s a partly cloudy 23 degrees with light winds on Sunday so perfect weather for Strudel. This week’s ride is Hahndorf via River Rd

Meet: 7:30am is the city or 8:30 am at the Mt Lofty Bollards, that’s the top of the hill

Route: Old Mt Barker Rd, Mt Barker Rd, Aldgate Valley Rd, Mylor, River Rd Hahndorf

As this Sunday is the last Sunday of the Month its early for a club ride. However as the weather looks a bit difficult at 25 degrees, Partly Cloudy but with Strong Winds let’s bring the No Excuses ride forward but book in a weather call. So, No Excuses, I expect to see everyone out.

On the spring classics Saturday is Milan-San Remo always a good race if it isn’t raining.

Sunday Ride 16/03 – Short Beach

I have consulted the BOM and the long-range hour by hour forecast and Sunday looks dodgy. However, we were meant to get 45mm and the 65mm in Mudgee and didn’t get a drop. Leura on the other hand started out foggy and then was just wet. So, you can’t trust the BOM.

 We have set a short beach ride and l will update tomorrow based on the forecast. If it’s raining or the winds are too high we will call it. It’s meant to be Hills and if the weather gods smile we will decide in the morning.

I am at Handorf for an Engagement party on Saturday so a multiple Strudel weekend for me. 

Sunday Ride – Hot Weather Hills 2/2

It’s forecast for 38 degrees on Sunday. So, we will do a ranges ride and see what the weather is like at the top of Nortons. If its too hot we will bail and come back via Montecute.
