Jack Bobridge has taken his first pro win at the Eneco Tour, claiming the fifth stage of the race by attacking from a breakaway and soloing to victory in the last 2km in typical Bobridge style. Congrats to the local talent for his first of what I'm sure will be many victories.
Robbie McEwen took the win in the opening stage of the race. Great to see the champ get a win after an unsuccessful tour campaign where he was in the fight but never the victor. Allan Davis took third in that sprint.
Tony Martin (HTC-Columbia) went on to win the race with the final TT on Tue. See Cycling News for more detail. FS
